The full Hackney fare structure for Boston Borough Council is shown below – this applies to our Hackey Carriages which are the taxis you can hail, find in taxi ranks or book in advance.

Prices for our pre-booked Private Hire are not covered by the hackney fare structure – please contact us for a quote or see some example fares for our Airport/Seaport Transfer services.

Boston Borough Council sets the maximum hackney carriage (taxi) fare structure (for hirings beginning and ending within the Borough) and it is unlawful to charge a rate above that set by the Authority. The Council cannot set a maximum fare structure for private hire vehicles.
